How to Overcome Insomnia
I’m happy to report that sleep problems are a thing of the past for me now. Imagine that instead of taking hours to fall asleep, you’re off in less than 10 minutes. You literally sleep like a baby and never wake up during the night anymore (if you do wake up to go to the bathroom, you get back to sleep within minutes).
You spend less time in bed… And instead of feeling rundown all day you’re full of energy to do all you want to do.
This is what happened to me. I have time to create new things, write, run a business and spend time with my family. It has made a huge difference. So much so that I decided to bring what I found to other people and help them solve their sleep problems once and for all —
— and since April 2007, I’ve been dialoguing and helping thousands of people all over the world overcome their insomnia. It’s been an enlightening journey.
Two Critical Components of a Real Solution
Think you might just as well pop a pill and be done with the problem? Think again.
Most sleeping pills are in the benzodiazepines family — and the sad fact is that getting used to these dangerous drugs will:
- not solve your sleep problem at all after the first few weeks (effectiveness is limited to a few weeks)
- probably make it worse after a while
- create additional health problems
- make it much harder for you to restore sound, natural sleep later
You wouldn’t believe the number of people who tell me how their sleep and their health have been destroyed by those chemicals. It’s really ugly. Anyway, I won’t go into a full rant now… but I will soon.
Back to our subject: extensive research led me to understand that, in order to really combat insomnia in a fast and effective way, and get rid of sleep problems once and for all, we need a two-punch combination:
- brain training (I’ll tell you more about that soon);
- and effective sleep strategies (so you stop making those damn mistakes that kill your sleep)…
But instead of going into the details here…
